The lack of financial reporting within the DAO.
Goals
Inform the community about the financial state of the DAO and the impact of governance votes, crypto trends & news on the protocol’s performance.
These reports will be the go to for the community to get informed about the DAO similar to how investors in traditional finance look into financial statements to get informed about their equity allocations.
These reports would include : Revenues, Expenses, Treasury, Market Share … and any relevant metrics.
Community members can suggest new metrics to track and they will be added if they are relevant and the data is available without major hassles.
More details :
Instead of monthly reports, I can make quarterly reports to decrease the costs for the DAO. The funding request is the same 1k USD (in PSP) per report.
Also, I can accept funding for one quarterly report as test run before a longer period engagement.

The content and thus the quality of the reports are at the discretion of the author. Members can suggest new additions but the final output is at the discretion of the author. Payment can not be refused if some community members don’t agree with the contents.

thanks for proposing your help on this topic. Financial transparency is always a good point to help people trust the protocol.
But I’m joining @Scario here, maybe we should get first the feedback to know if this is not something already done internally but not communicated on a public regular way yet.
If it exists and it’s just a matter of communication, we probably need to check if your proposal is not redundant with the creation and purpose of the Governance Committee and the ParaTroopers Contributor structure.
Even if something similar is produced internally, these reports are still valuable. The main target are passive PSP holders that need to get informed about the state of the DAO they invested in.
Internal reports are mainly for active contributors, they are not my main target with these reports.
Hi, any DAO member is able to submit a proposal on snapshot once it adheres to the PSP-IP format. If you believe the current proposal is ready for voting, feel free to submit it at Snapshot

The first report will be produced this month or next month as I collect the necessary data.
