Summary of the Community Call / AMA - Thursday 27th February 2025

If I missed or misrepresented anything, feel free to point it out!

ParaSwap Delegate Incentives Program

The community call began with a discussion on the PIP-58 - ParaSwap Delegate Incentives Program - Cycle 1, proposed by @SEEDGov. This program, set to start if the proposal is approved on March 1st for a duration of six months, aims to stimulate ParaSwap’s governance.

If some delegators are not eligible this time, it is important to stay engaged, as applications will reopen in June. Additionally, six more spots will be available for this program.

So, the program will reopen applications in three months.@SEEDGov, responsible for the program, will evaluate the delegates’ performance (votes, comments, participation), and a final report on key activity metrics is expected by the end of August.

ParaSwap Growth Working Group (PGWG)

then the Establish the ParaSwap Growth Working Group (PGWG) - Application was discussed, which includes @Avantgarde, @AranaDigital, @citizen42, and @SEEDGov. This group is working on implementing a growth framework for Paraswap and potentially facilitating the creation of a growth committee.

It was confirmed that there is strategic alignment, and that no work overlaps or contradicts, which could be a concern when forming this type of working group.

News about project miro

A new proposal will be shared very soon, introducing the new token on a new network.
One of the features that should be ready when the new token goes live is the intent-based cross-chain functionality. This feature goes beyond simple cross-chain swaps and can be applied to other use cases, such as migration to a new network.
In this way, people who wish to switch to the new network will be able to use this solution to migrate easily, and staking is also planned.
In parallel, Laita is working with partners on other sections such as marketing, with ideations and designs currently being developed for the launch.

Community Questions and Discussions

1- A question was raised about setting up a dedicated space for updates on progress, the roadmap, and the exact migration date.
@0xytocin explained that while communications and the roadmap are being prepared, this information has not yet been published due to scheduling reasons. The goal is to share them closer to the migration. Content will soon be available to present the upcoming new features.

Regarding the migration date, no specific deadline has been set. @laita stated that the team prefers to wait until everything is fully ready before announcing it. The target remains a migration in the first quarter, but delays may occur depending on the completion of cross-chain tests and necessary visual adjustments. Once these steps are finalized, the exact date will be announced.

2 - The integration of new chains was also discussed.
@0xytocin emphasized that deploying a product like ParaSwap on a network goes beyond simply deploying smart contracts. It is essential to have block simulations, nodes, and infrastructure to ensure transactions run smoothly. Additionally, collaboration with network teams is crucial for successful deployments.

Networks are evaluated based on the distribution of liquidity across multiple DEXs. A network where liquidity is well spread among different platforms is prioritized over one where it is concentrated on a single DEX, as this optimizes swap algorithms. Finally, the introduction of intent-based trading could facilitate certain integrations in the future.

3 - The recent hack was also addressed. @0xytocin stated that the team is in direct discussions with Bybit to find a solution. However, as these discussions are still ongoing, no new communication can be shared at this time.

4 - Finally, a question was asked about @laita vision for aggregated markets in the future and ParaSwap/Miro strategic position compared to its competitors.
@0xytocin explained that ParaSwap’s vision relies on its ability to introduce technical innovations that maximize rates while ensuring an optimal user experience. The goal is to go beyond traditional aggregation by developing new solutions, such as an auction infrastructure and cross-chain communications for the Miro project. He emphasized that they are not just aiming to deliver a standard product quickly but rather to deeply understand the technologies and create sustainable, innovative solutions that will have a significant impact on the industry.

Thank you for the Summary of the community Call.

I guess you mean that the new token will be also available on a new network. And not that the new token will only be on this new network…
